Agel Scam, truth revealed here by ex Agel member
After running a small business for several years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it wasn't long before one of my friends introduced me to MLM. Been naturally sceptical of MLM, it took a while for me to warm to the idea of becoming involved. However i was taken back my the flashy sales materials and promise of instant riches. It was at this time,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], i parted with my hard earned income and become a member of Agel.
At the time ( around 2006 ) Agel was just about to launch in the UK, I had tried the products and was ready to get started. I loved the idea of nutritional gel packs, and they looked great, and didn't taste to bad either. I was hooked in the dirty world of MLM marketing.
I met a lot of good people in my time with Agel, and even made a few quid here and there, but the whole experience, shady sales techniques and horrible guru MLM leaders made me feel sick. As I already had a profitable business away from Agel, I understood the basic rules of business, that still apply to MLM selling, the problem is however, that the average person who becomes involved in MLM is doomed to fail. There compensation plan for distributors is heavily reliant on autoship, asking distributors to buy their own products each month to feed the network above. Many distributors soon realised that to make a decent residual income out of Agel (around $2000 a month), you needed around 350-400 people in your team, all taking part in a monthly autoship of products
This is crazy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], most people get hooked into Agel as they are broke, and looking for a way to make extra money. So not only do they have to pay the initial $1000 set-up fee, they then have to pay another $200 a month to buy products, or they can effectively no longer take part in the business unless they maintain a monthly order of products.
For most people who get hooked on the Agel dream,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it becomes a nightmare. Unless you treat it as a full time job, and be prepared to work extra long hours to grow a team of people which need constant attention and constant recruitment, you will have little luck in making a regular full time wage out of the business. There are far better MLM opportunities, which don't require the monthly commitment, if your new to MLM, I suggest you look at these type of opportunities before you get involved with Agel.
