The navigability of your website can make a huge difference to its success. If a user arrives on your page and is unable to find what they want, they will likely just go elsewhere. If they get lost once they're already on your site - or are unable to find something they had seen earlier - that can also be a turn off.
There are several ways to make sure you're creating a website that is easy to navigate. So with some time and work,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you can be sure your site is one that people can easily move through.
· Keep The User In Mind You may have a style or design that you really like, but it may not be the same your users like. By always thinking about how a user will react to change or addition, you'll be able to design a site that appeals to them. How would adding an additional navigation bar at the top or on the side help your customers? Should we include some sort of section like "Recently viewed items" so they can find items they looked at previously? Could the color of the site influence whether or not a person is able to find what they need? Put yourself in their shoes and you'll likely come up with some interesting insights.
· Seek Feedback But even with all that work of researching and thinking about what a user may want, you're still going to want to get some feedback - especially during the early stages. You can include a link on the homepage asking for input about the site from visitors, you can contact previous customers and ask them what they did or didn't like about the site, or you can even enlist friends and family to visit your site and give their input (you may want or need to incentivize any or all of these people with a discount coupon). This will be a great way of knowing how well your site is designed.
· Test,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Then Test Again With every change you make to your site,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], keep track of whether sales go up or go down. If they go up, then you've made a good change. If they go down,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you need to switch back to the old version and try again. These changes can be small - colors,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], text size,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], font, wording, etc. - but you may be surprised at how much of a difference it can make. You can keep making these changes and doing these tests indefinitely, always working to make a better experience for the user.
Design the site for the user and see what works. You'll be happy with the result and have a website that's easy to navigate through.
