To Vista or not to Vista��Hmmm
Why would I upgrade to Vista,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! I hear this comment often. Coworkers say ��XP works great and I am so used to it and besides isn��t it just another Microsoft upgrade. �� Unfortunately, they could not be further from the truth.
Vista has a significant amount of upgrades to impress even the most pessimistic of people. The Vista system is more powerful than its predecessors and the graphics are substantially higher than any of the prior operating systems.
Office 2007 has different versions from Basic to Professional. The new 2007 Word is impressive and able to seamlessly create citations and bibliographies for the professional or student alike correcting contextual spelling for users. PowerPoint has been substantially upgraded and has a wealth of new and user friendly features.
Excel 2007 has undergone changes and can do instant conditional formatting. Outlook takes a blog or feed and imports them to your inbox. Microsoft has even given the user sidebar widgets on the screen. On the side of the screen, small luminescent applications appear showing memory usage,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], weather,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or many other user defined displays. The option to disable the sidebar widget is easy to do for any user.
Office 2007 has a different format for saving files than prior versions. Microsoft calls it XML and the benefit is that saving, sorting, and coping files are easier to view and search thru. In addition in the 2007 Office one can save documents as an earlier version for colleges to view that have older systems.
The icons used in XP are still an option but Vista uses tabs as the preferred way of navigating. Finding correct icons is made simpler with this design. A similar design is in the new Explorer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], slightly reflecting the Firefox web browser.
Upgrade to Vista and Office 2007 and enjoy the usability that many users have looked forward to for a long time.
