NewMarket China has signed a two-year contract with Shanghai ArtCoding Company to cooperatively provide outsourcing services to game development customers.
NewMarket China will initially target customers in North America,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but will eventually seek customers in other global markets as well.
ArtCoding has provided offshore development services to a variety of customers, including international game publishers and independent studios. Their capabilities extend not only to the PC platform,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but also to Sony's PlayStation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Microsoft's Xbox,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Nintendo's GameCube.
Last year, NewMarket Technology, the holding company for NewMarket China,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], completed the independent public listing of its Chinese operations which expect to report over US$20 million in revenue for 2006. NewMarket China has forecasted a 100% increase in revenue in 2007 to US$40 million.
