Church reports, "Twenty-two thousand people die from the advanced form of dengue fever – that's mainly children, and two-fifths of the planet or 4.5 billion people in 100 countries are at risk from dengue fever."
Infected mosquitoes lay their eggs in warm wet areas where hot temperatures and frequent rainfall create an ideal breeding environment. Tourists and travelers bitten by the mosquitoes carry the disease to other parts of the world. Once a person is infected, he can pass the illness to other mosquitoes.
