Theeffectoffabrica-tionmethodsonthemicrostructureandmechanicalpropertiesofthecompositeswasinvestigated. ItwasfoundthatthecompositespreparedbyPP-HPexhibitedbrittlefracturebehaviorsthoughtheywerewelldensified,true religion, whichwasmainlyascribedtoastronglybondedfiber / matrixinterfaceandthedegradationofthefiberscausedbyhigherprocessingtemperature. Onthecontrary, thecompositepreparedbyPIPshowedtoughfracturebehaviors, whichcouldberationalizedonthebasisofaweaklybondedfiber / matrixinterfaceaswellashigherstrengthretentionofthefibers.
